Sara Folsom, a tenth grade student at Eisenhower High School, recently had a poem published in the San Bernardino Sun. The Sun sponsored a poetry contest in which contestants were asked to write a 10-line poem using ten special words. The winning poems were printed in the Monday, October 9, 2000 edition.
Folsom was one of five winners to be featured with her poem, "The Girl's Aggression." The Sun regularly sponsors contests on the Youth Scene page.
