Eisenhower High School alumni, Melissa Arias ('02), will graduate in June from the Fashion Institue of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and recently presented her first collection. Only 10 design students out of more than 900 were chosen to create a collection for the L.A. Fashion Gala/Debut Show.
Melissa's story was featured in the City News section of the Inland Daily Bulletin on May 5, 2006. In the article, Melissa gives credit to Deborah Scott-Toux, who was her Fashion Textiles teacher at Eisenhower.
