The EHS Golden Eagle Marching Regiment performed on Saturday November 19th at the SCJA Championships in Huntington Beach. After receiving qualifying scores to compete, they received a 7th place out of the 10 bands that qualified. This is their first year in the highly competitive 3A Division.
In addition, Augusto Vivanco, a senior, received high honors and a $100 scholarship for top soloist in the Division.

Look for the band to perform in Oakland this weekend in the Comcast America's Children's Holiday Parade which will be broadcast around the world during the Christmas Holiday. They will be the Entry Number 44 in the parade. The parade will begin at 2PM and will be immediately broadcast on KQED, KTEH-PBS, KTVU-FOX2, KICU-TV 36, COMCAST CABLE and PERALTA TV.
